Travel Africa Magazine #91 now out

Why do lodges charge the rates they do, and what is the impact of tourism on communities and wildlife across Africa? In the new issue of Travel Africa magazine (#91, January-March 2021), now out, we look at the business of tourism, and why travel is so important for Africa's wildlife and communities.

We look at the impact of tourism in Gorongosa, Gonarezhou, Grootbos, Madagascar, Kenya's northern rangelands and others. We ask 13 tour operators to share the places they would most like to escape to, see Namibia’s extraordinary landscapes from an entirely fresh perspective, and get exclusive and personal insight to the Walk Luangwa expedition that raised valuable money and awareness for conservation projects in the valley.
