Seychelles targets Asian growth at ITB Asia 2025
Tourism Seychelles reported solid trade engagement at ITB Asia 2025 in Singapore, held 15 to 17 October. Represented by Amia Jovanovic‑Desir and Saida Mussard, the delegation conducted more than 60 scheduled meetings and welcomed 140 walk‑in visitors, with notable interest from MICE planners across the region. The show hosted 1,500 qualified buyers and logged over 60,000 business appointments – up 35% year on year – underscoring rising demand from Asia‑Pacific travel markets.
Officials said ongoing visibility through trade activity, media outreach and familiarisation trips will be key to building the destination’s footprint. With branding focused on Seychelles’ natural assets and sustainable experiences, the team positioned the islands for high‑value leisure and MICE business, aiming to deepen partnerships across Asia and Australasia following the Singapore showcase.
