Saba Douglas-Hamilton to Speak in London on Elephant Conservation
Renowned conservationist and wildlife filmmaker Saba Douglas-Hamilton will make a rare appearance in London for a special talk focused on Save the Elephants and Elephant Watch Camp in Kenya.
Saba will discuss the ongoing work to protect Africa’s elephants, alongside the regenerative conservation and community initiatives connected with Elephant Watch Camp in Samburu.
The talk will be combined with the launch of Genius Loci by botanical artist Sarah Graham, whose sabbatical in the wild with Saba inspired a body of artwork, predominantly watercolour paintings, of which Catherine, Princess of Wales, is a supporter.
The one-off London event provides an opportunity for African travel professionals to hear directly from Saba about the challenges facing elephant conservation and the role transformative tourism can play in protecting wildlife and supporting local communities.
