FHS Africa Rescheduled to April 2027 to Align with POATE and AFCON

Future Hospitality Summit Africa has moved its 2027 dates to 28 – 29 April, shifting from the originally scheduled 2 – 3 February, to align with Uganda's Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo (POATE) at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala. The strategic realignment is designed to strengthen ties between the hospitality investment and tourism promotion communities, bringing together investors, developers, operators and tourism decision-makers from across Africa and international markets on a single, consolidated platform.

The timing also positions FHS Africa ahead of AFCON 2027, the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament, which Uganda will co-host alongside Kenya and Tanzania in mid-2027. The tournament is expected to draw significant global attention to East Africa's tourism and hospitality potential, amplifying the impact of both FHS Africa and POATE for regional and international stakeholders. Uganda's growing infrastructure, natural attractions and investment pipeline are set to feature prominently across both events, reinforcing Kampala's profile as a key destination for hospitality development and business engagement across the continent.
