On Show Solutions to host 3-day event in South Africa
Organisers of Africa Showcase, On Show Solutions, the continent's premier tourism roadshow, is bringing the event to South Africa for a three-city tour from June 11-13, 2024. The showcase will take place in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, offering a platform for exhibitors to connect with local tour operators and travel agents.
The goal is to boost regional and domestic travel within Africa, which is pivotal for sustaining tourism businesses post-pandemic. With a strong delegation of African exhibitors lined up, the three-day event targets agents passionate about African destinations like Namibia, Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.
South Africa was chosen as host due to its large yet underutilized outbound market, amid growing interest from South Africans to explore more of the continent.
