Namibia Tourism Board Takes Investment and Tourism Drive to Botswana
The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB), the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), and the Namibian High Commission to Botswana have launched a joint roadshow in Gaborone aimed at strengthening bilateral tourism and investment ties. The initiative opened with the "Unlocking Investment Opportunities in Namibia" business forum, bringing together regional business leaders, diplomats and investors to highlight Namibia's business climate, tax incentives and regulatory frameworks.
NTB Chief Executive Officer Sebulon Chicalu said the engagements are designed to deepen cooperation, promote cross-border travel, and position Southern Africa as a competitive multi-destination region. The drive forms part of Namibia's broader strategy to grow inbound tourism and attract regional capital, with the NTB emphasising sustainable tourism growth and stronger trade relationships with key neighbouring markets as central to its long-term objectives.
