ITFFA 2024 - The 6th International Tourism Film Festival Africa heads to Cape Town in May

The International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) proudly marks its 5th year of operation, achieving record-breaking participation for the fifth consecutive year. The upcoming 6th edition is set to be hosted by the City of Cape Town at the historic Cape Town City Hall in May 2024.

Since its inaugural event in 2019, ITFFA has attracted over 3400 entries from 97 countries, underscoring the global enthusiasm for engaging with African and South African tourism film and video content. Dedicated to honouring all video content related to the tourism and travel industry, ITFFA provides a platform for the world to explore the rich tapestry of Africa's digital tourism marketing.

James Byrne, co-director of ITFFA, expresses excitement, stating, "We are thrilled to be able to showcase the best of Africa’s digital tourism marketing content on the global stage." Co-founder Caroline Ungersbock adds, "Films produced in our country not only utilise tourism services but also expose locations used during filming to both national and international markets."
