The Hotel & Hospitality Expo Africa will take place in Cape Town for the first time, marking its eighth edition at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 11–12 June 2025. Organised by dmg events, the expo arrives as Africa’s hospitality sector sees renewed momentum, driven by increased “bleisure” travel, stronger international connectivity, and growing demand for premium accommodation. Forecasts from Statista project the continent’s travel and tourism market to reach $33.54 billion by 2029, with hotels comprising nearly half that value.

The 2025 event is expected to draw over 4,000 visitors and more than 150 exhibitors, including key decision-makers from across the sector. Notable additions include the launch of HORECA Connect for hotel, restaurant, and catering professionals, and the debut of the Africa Food Show, part of the global Gulfood series. A key highlight will be the release of the 2025 African Hospitality Confidence Index report, offering insights into industry trends, innovation, and investment opportunities. The event aims to position Cape Town as a strategic hub for hospitality business growth across Africa.
