We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Reservations Consultant to manage reservations operations across both properties, maximise revenue opportunities, and deliver exceptional service to our trade partners and guests. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating seamless guest experiences from enquiry through to confirmation.
Role Summary:
The Senior Reservations Consultant will oversee all reservations operations, guest enquiries, and booking processes across both properties. They will manage relationships with trade partners, ensure accurate and timely communication, and contribute to maximising occupancy and revenue.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote island environment. This role combines luxury hospitality expertise with excellent communication skills, operational discipline, and a passion for delivering seamless and personalised guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all reservations in eRes for Azura Boutique Retreats, including bookings from agents, tour operators, and direct guests when required.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the eRes reservations system, ensuring it is structured and used optimally to maximise sales data and guarantee accuracy of all input information.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability for both current and future dates.
- Serve as a communication link between guests and the resort, updating information and liaising all reservation details with Operations and relevant departments.
- Adhere to all financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain an efficient information processing system and an effective daily follow-up system.
- Assist with client communications, responding promptly to day-to-day enquiries and requests from direct clients.
- Ensure room holds are managed effectively and released when necessary.
- Follow up on pre-arrival guest questionnaires (PAQs) and ensure all relevant details are captured in the bookings.
- Ensure timely receipt of payments and accurate reflection in eRes, updating bookings weekly as payments are received.
- Upsell to higher room categories or rates wherever possible during the booking process.
- Apply specials correctly and as needed.
- Identify potential new clients and forward them to the Sales & Marketing Manager for further development.
