ATTA® Takes the Spotlight as Largest Exhibitor at Pan-African Tourism Event

Newly appointed CEO Jon Danks and ATTA® Chair Nick Aslin had a remarkable opportunity for collaboration during Indaba 2023, the world's largest pan-African tourism event held in Durban, South Africa. As the leading exhibitor at the event, ATTA® experienced its most successful year ever, symbolising a strong resurgence of tourism in Africa.

On the second day of Indaba 2023, Danks and Aslin met with the tourism ministers of Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Zambia in a meaningful gathering. This informal meeting concluded an eventful day at the Durban International Convention Centre.

The ministers in attendance were Hon. Vera Kamtukule, Minister of Tourism for Malawi; Hon. Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu, Minister of Environment, Climate, Tourism, and Hospitality Industry for Zimbabwe; and Hon. Rodney Sikumba, Minister of Tourism for Zambia.
