ATTA® launches new series on high-value niche tourism opportunities

ATTA® is excited to announce the launch of a comprehensive resource series designed to help members capitalise on emerging niche tourism markets across Africa. The initiative includes weekly LinkedIn thought leadership articles, detailed market guides, and an upcoming white paper focusing on six high-potential sectors.

“We're seeing significant shifts in how travellers want to experience Africa,” says Kgomotso Ramothea, CEO ATTA® Memberships. “This series aims to provide practical guidance on how to tap into these evolving markets and give our members the competitive edge in attracting consumers to the continent.”

The series explores six key growth areas:

  • Inclusive Travel: Multi-sensory wildlife safaris designed for diverse abilities
  • Female-Only Safaris: Women-led adventures highlighting conservation and empowerment
  • Nature Therapy Retreats: Mindfulness-focused wilderness experiences
  • Rural Tourism: Immersive community-based experiences
  • Dark Sky Tourism: Astronomical adventures combining science with cultural heritage

Each segment will include market analysis, implementation guidelines, and practical steps for operators looking to expand their offerings. The series will roll out over the coming months, with new content published weekly on ATTA®’s LinkedIn page.
