Angola confirmed host country for ITB Berlin 2026

Angola has been confirmed as the official host country for ITB Berlin 2026, with a partnership agreement signed between Angola’s Ministry of Tourism and Messe Berlin. The sixtieth anniversary edition of the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show will take place on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 3–5 March 2026, with the agreement signed by Márcio de Jesus Lopes Daniel, Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Angola, and Dirk Hoffmann, COO of Messe Berlin.

As host country, Angola will present the opening gala on 2 March and a wide-ranging programme, supported by its new brand identity, Visit Angola – The Rhythm of Life. The role offers significant visibility for an underexplored destination known for national parks, deserts, long beaches and cultural richness, and aligns with ITB Berlin’s scale as a B2B platform – the 2025 show drew almost 100,000 attendees and more than 5,800 exhibitors from 170 countries – ahead of the brand’s expansion to include ITB Americas from 2026.
