Overview

Sue is an award-winning freelance writer based in London who specialises in African travel and conservation. Her addiction to Africa and its wildlife began twenty years ago after spending eight months travelling across the continent on a belated gap year from her career as a business manager. She’s been returning ever since, working with some of Africa’s leading conservationists and safari operators for commissions published in leading UK newspapers and magazines. Her outlets include The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, Travel Africa magazine, BBC Wildlife magazine, JRNY, and Wanderlust. Sue has contributed to Bradt guidebooks on Namibia and Zambia, and to various coffee-table books on African travel, and has written online for Travel + Leisure, Lonely Planet, Adventure.com, and Rough Guides.
