Grant Cumings is the owner of Chiawa Safaris, the only company in Zambia with camps inside both the Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa National Parks. A Pro Guide and Honorary Wildlife Ranger, Grant was the first safari operator in the Lower Zambezi NP, when he established the multi-award winning Chiawa Camp in 1990. Since then he opened Old Mondoro (in 2023 voted Favourite Safari Camp in Africa by the readers of Travel Africa magazine), and more recently is collaborating with Chichele Safaris in the reimagination, rebuild and operating of Puku Ridge and Chichele Presidential.
