Webinar Recording - Welcome to Jaci’s Lodges in 2023

To start things off, Jaci's Tree Lodge has had some major renovations done with a brand new roof on the Main Area and Breakaway Lounge. To create a cozy interior, 3 fireplaces have also been installed in the bar and dining area along with a stunning mural on the lounge wall, bringing the Main Area back to life with Jaci's signature style, vibrant colour and flair.

The deck around the swimming pool has been rebuilt with the addition of a covered pergola to create a poolside sanctuary for those warm Summer days.

Finally, all the wooden decks and walkways throughout Jaci’s Tree Lodge have been sanded, oiled and new handrails along the walkways to replace the gum pole and latt ones of yesteryear.

The Treehouse Suites at Jaci’s Tree Lodge also had some exciting refurbishments done. The wooden stackaway doors have been replaced with aluminium framed glass sliding doors, effortlessly allowing nature to seep in. Our traditional open outdoor showers now have a roof with a huge Pivet door at the front, creating a natural in/outdoor shower area - suitable for all seasons.

Over at Jaci’s Safari Lodge, our brand new Thutlwa Viewing Deck is complete, ensuring an exceptional outdoor space for guests to sit and observe the constant stream of wildlife that frequent the open plain & vlei area in front of the lodge. Varied game viewing opportunities include Elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lilac breasted rollers, squirrels and much, much more frequent the area - as well as the occasional pack of African wild dogs - are seen from the deck during the day, creating safari memories for our guests.

Outdoor dining on Thutlwa Deck has also become a favourite, as you can now look forward to sublime moonlit dinners and sumptuous scenic lunches, with panoramic views over the plain, through the Tambotie forest and onto the Dwarsberg Mountain range.

Our much loved Nare Suite has also been completely redone and is looking very different with a new roof, and remodelled interior. Everything from the bedrooms, lounge area, loft, outdoor viewing deck, dining area & swimming pool have undergone a complete overhaul, creating the perfect private escape for families or groups seeking a luxury private bushveld getaway.

The small waterhole directly in front of Nare Suite is, as always,  a favourite hangout for our resident herds of elephants who visit regularly to quench their thirst and wallow in the mud.

Jaci's Madikwe House, our newest exclusive-use accommodation offering at Jaci's Lodges, is showing off a new roof, all the main house wooden doors have been replaced with aluminium sliding doors. Fireplaces now feature in both the lounge and master bedroom, creating a family safari haven for our guests to enjoy. The pizza oven & wood fired Kol-Kol hot tub create an individual and fabulous private bushveld home atmosphere, ready to be fully enjoyed by families or groups of friends.

Just a reminder. All of our Family Villas at Jaci’s Lodges come with a private Guide, Chef and vehicle.

And finally, the big one we waited for all year - we invited David Rogers to bring his cameras and photograph everything - what a shot list it was!  Head on over to our website to see how his images have brought our Lodges, the interiors, setting and overall Jaci’s Lodges experience to life.
