Webinar Recording: A&K Sanctuary - What's New? Kitirua Plains Lodge, Baines' Lodge & GFL
Thank you to everyone who joined our recent ATTA® webinar with A&K Sanctuary, presented by Justyna Bembnista, Sales Manager (Germany & Austria), on behalf of Jenna Morrison, Sales Manager UK.
The session provided members with an update on some of A&K Sanctuary's newest developments across East and Southern Africa, highlighting the brand's continued investment in luxury safari experiences, conservation and community engagement.
Attendees were introduced to Kitirua Plains Lodge in Kenya, the newest addition to the Sanctuary portfolio. Located within the Amboseli ecosystem, the lodge offers exceptional views of Mount Kilimanjaro, exclusive wildlife experiences and a strong conservation focus through A&K Philanthropy's long-standing partnership with local Maasai communities.
The webinar also explored the newly refurbished Baines' Lodge in Botswana, where contemporary design complements one of the Okavango Delta's most iconic safari settings. Guests can enjoy elegant suites, exceptional game viewing and a range of water- and land-based safari activities throughout the year.
In Uganda, Justyna showcased Gorilla Forest Lodge, which reopened as a completely rebuilt property in 2025. Situated within Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the lodge has been constructed using locally sourced materials and artwork, offering guests an immersive base for gorilla trekking while supporting local communities and conservation initiatives.
Beyond the featured lodges, attendees also received updates on A&K Sanctuary's wider portfolio, including its philanthropy projects across Africa, the relocation of Ngorongoro Crater Camp and the upcoming launch of the Sanctuary Nile Seray, a new luxury riverboat set to begin sailing on the Nile later this year.
The webinar concluded with a live Q&A, where members discussed product positioning, conservation initiatives, community partnerships and upcoming developments across the A&K Sanctuary portfolio.
Thank you to Justyna Bembnista for an engaging presentation and to everyone who joined us.
