Virgin Limited Edition to Open New Luxury Hotel Near Marrakech in 2027
Virgin Limited Edition has announced the development of a 37-suite luxury hotel on a 10-hectare private agricultural estate near Marrakech, Morocco, due to open in 2027. The project, developed in partnership with Marrakech-based luxury real estate developer Sazanes Immobilier, will become the brand's second property in Morocco, joining Kasbah Tamadot in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains located one hour away. Construction is already underway, with bookings set to open in September 2026 ahead of the first 22 keys launching in Q1 2027 and the remaining 15 keys following in Q1 2028.
Situated a 25-minute drive from central Marrakech, the estate will be set within a 40-hectare organic farm supplying three restaurants, a Chef's Table and a speakeasy bar with home-grown seasonal produce. The offering will also include a traditional Moroccan wellness facility with a hammam, a 40-metre swimming pool, and recreational activities such as tennis, padel and horse riding. Inspired by Moroccan craftsmanship and Berber traditions, the property is designed to offer guests a culturally immersive retreat while enabling twin-centre itineraries alongside Kasbah Tamadot - an attractive proposition for high-end travellers seeking distinct experiences within a single portfolio.
