Updates from the Matetsi Victoria Falls family

Over the course of 2023, our family-owners have been working with Sandy Pollard as acting-MD to build a very strong leadership team that will take Matetsi Victoria Falls to new heights.

Our new General Manager Stian Commaille, who has been part of the Matetsi family since mid-2023, is passionate about both hospitality and conservation and leads our team with admirable prowess.

Stian has now been joined by Hospitality Operations Manager, Taph Machirori, Head Guide, Paul Ngorima and Executive Housekeeper, Thembi Ndlovu – exceptional Zimbabweans who bring a wealth of experience to our team.

We also want to share that after more than five years with Matetsi Victoria Falls, Hayley Walls, who was our Director of Sales & Marketing, has spread her wings. Hayley has been a key part of our Matetsi family, and we are delighted for her and the growth opportunities that her next step presents for her.

For 2024, our focus at Matetsi Victoria Falls remains on creating remarkable guest experiences while conserving vast areas of pristine wilderness and creating employment, upskilling, and opportunities for Zimbabweans.

Our Matetsi family, including family-owners, Sandy, Stian and our whole Matetsi team, are fully committed to enhancing the guest experience through continued hard work, attention to detail and reinvestment in the property.
