Tourvest announces multi‑region acquisitions to expand reach

Tourvest Destination Management has announced a series of acquisitions across Africa, Europe and the Caribbean to widen geographic coverage, deepen sector specialisation and bolster resilience. The portfolio includes the integration of Majorca-based Life Experiences; an incubator investment in an Antigua cruise‑tourism operator effective 1 March 2026; expansion of the Sense of Africa brand into Rwanda with a pending investment in Zambia; product development in Angola; and a stake in Rugby Travel Ireland.

Tourvest said the moves target growth areas such as cruise and sports tourism while strengthening on-the-ground capability in complex destinations. The group cited operational flexibility, local decision-making and local knowledge as priorities, and did not disclose financial terms. Industry context includes continued growth in the Caribbean cruise market – accounting for more than one third of global itineraries – and steady arrivals growth in Rwanda and Zambia, as destinations across Africa develop experience-led travel.
