TOUGHA to make first Z‑Summit appearance in Zanzibar

Kenya’s Tourism and Wildlife Principal Secretary, Silvia Museiya, has warned that capital projects – including roads, rail, energy corridors and urban expansion – are displacing wildlife and increasing exposure to poaching, with climate change compounding pressures on habitats.

December 2025 saw 100,729 visitors – up 10% year on year and 38.3% month on month – with bed occupancy close to 89%, more than 815,000 bed nights sold and an average intended stay just over eight nights.
