New Podcast Highlights Voices Shaping Africa’s Tourism Future
A new podcast, I Am Tourism Stories, has launched to spotlight the voices behind Africa’s travel sector. Building on the original "I Am Tourism" campaign launched during the Covid-19 pandemic, the podcast creates space for community leaders, policy advisers, conservationists, entrepreneurs, and creatives to share honest insights into the challenges and opportunities facing African tourism today.
Co-created by tourism strategist Natalia Rosa and hosted alongside Melissa Foley of Africa’s Eden Tourism Association, the podcast focuses on authentic dialogue rather than promotion. Episode themes range from inclusive travel and cultural entrepreneurship to grassroots community impact and destination authenticity. The series is available on major streaming platforms and encourages industry professionals to contribute perspectives that foster transparency and transformation in African tourism.
