New Dates for Essence of Africa, the Continent’s Premier Buyer Forum
Essence of Africa, the continent's premier buyer forum connecting international buyers with African tourism suppliers, has announced revised dates for its upcoming event. Originally scheduled to coincide with the Magical Kenya Travel Expo, the meeting-driven trade show will now take place from 2-4 December 2024 at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
The decision to secure new dates in December follows careful consultation with Essence of Africa's advisory board comprising influential figures in African tourism. According to Nigel Vere Nicoll, President of the African Travel and Tourism Association, this move ensures the interests of exhibitors and buyers remain the priority.
"By leveraging our advisory board's expertise along with our organisers' global experience, we are confident the new dates provide an optimal platform for meaningful business connections and sustainable industry growth across Africa," stated Vere Nicoll.
Essence of Africa has already attracted significant exhibitor interest, with early confirmations from major brands like Abercrombie & Kent Kenya, Amazing Africa, Great Plains Conservation and Victoria Falls Safari Lodge among others.
The event offers a unique opportunity for pre-qualified international buyers to connect with leading African suppliers through curated meetings, networking opportunities, educational seminars and familiarisation trips across the continent.
