We are pleased to share the introduction of three new safari itineraries launching for the 2026 season, developed in response to evolving traveler expectations, operational insights, and growing demand for more intentional, experience-led travel across East Africa.

The newly introduced safaris — Ndovu Safari, Discover Tanzania, and Kongoni Safari — represent a shift toward deeper narrative design, improved pacing, and more meaningful engagement with landscapes, wildlife, and local contexts. Each itinerary has been structured to address specific gaps observed in traditional safari programming, particularly around flow, purpose, and guest immersion.

Ndovu Safari was designed as a slow-travel wildlife experience centered on elephant corridors and lesser-pressured ecosystems. The itinerary emphasizes longer stays per location, reduced transit fatigue, and a stronger focus on ecological continuity — allowing guests to observe wildlife behavior beyond brief game drive encounters.

Discover Tanzania introduces a rebalanced north–south circuit approach, integrating iconic parks with under-represented regions to create a broader understanding of Tanzania’s ecological diversity. The itinerary prioritizes logistical efficiency while maintaining flexibility for seasonal wildlife movements and conservation-focused extensions.

Kongoni Safari explores the concept of transitional landscapes — linking conservancies, national parks, and community-managed areas. The itinerary highlights how wildlife, people, and land use intersect, offering a structured yet adaptable framework that supports responsible tourism and local participation.

Collectively, these 2026 itineraries reflect ongoing efforts to refine safari design beyond standard routes, with a focus on sustainability, guest experience quality, and long-term destination stewardship. Full operational details and itineraries are available via  SafariHub.ke .

We look forward to engaging with fellow members of Adventure Travel Trade Association on how intentional product development can continue to strengthen East Africa’s safari offering in the years ahead.
