Moon's Camp opens new pool area and second family tent

Moon's Camp, a small, owner-run tented safari camp in the Lolldaiga Hills, Laikipia, has opened a new pool area and a second family tent, expanding its capacity for family and multi-generational safaris. The camp, which is a part of The Safari Series collection, is also a new ATTA member.

The second family tent gives Moon's Camp two tents suited to families with children of all ages, each offering separate sleeping spaces within one shared unit. Owners Ed and Moon live in camp with their own small children, and bring that experience directly into how the camp runs for young families, from games, toys and quizzes to hands-on activities out in the bush.

The new pool area sits within easy reach of both family tents and the main camp, giving children (and adults!) a beautiful, contained space to enjoy between activities while parents relax nearby. The area also includes a bar and coffee station, a dining table, and a quiet spot for reading and relaxing.

The Safari Series properties have long focused on family travel, offering walking, fly camping and cultural activities alongside game drives.
