Meet Us at MKTE and WTM: Strengthening Kenya’s Global Trade Connections
We are strengthening our trade partnerships, expanding our application globally and developing new ways to showcase Kenya.
Strengthening Kenya’s Connections with the African Travel Trade
For more than three decades, we have worked alongside international tour operators, travel specialists, lodges and other tourism partners to deliver carefully planned journeys throughout Kenya and East Africa.
As an owner-managed destination management company established in Kenya in 1994, we value the relationships that allow African tourism businesses to share knowledge, develop stronger products and present the continent responsibly to the international market.
Over the coming months, we look forward to continuing these conversations in Nairobi and London.
Meet Us at MKTE in Nairobi
We will attend the Magical Kenya Travel Expo at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi from 6–8 October 2026.
MKTE gives us an important opportunity to connect with African tourism partners, international buyers and destination specialists interested in developing or expanding their Kenya and East Africa programmes.
We look forward to discussing new itineraries, contracting opportunities, regional combinations and ways of responding to the changing interests of international travellers.
We are particularly interested in conversations around:
- Tailor-made Kenya and East Africa programmes
- Regional safari combinations
- Safari-and-coast itineraries
- Cultural and community-based experiences
- Conservation-led and responsible tourism
- Adventure and special-interest travel
- Group and incentive travel
- Technology and destination visibility
Continuing the Conversation at WTM London
We will also attend World Travel Market London at ExCeL London from 3–5 November 2026.
WTM remains an important meeting point for African suppliers and the international businesses that sell the continent. For us, it is an opportunity to reconnect with existing partners, meet new Africa specialists and hold practical conversations about product development, market expectations and future cooperation.
If you will attend MKTE or WTM London, we would be pleased to arrange a meeting with you.

Taking Kenya Parks & Safaris to a Global Audience
Alongside our destination-management work, we continue to develop the Kenya Parks & Safaris application.
We are improving its destination content, functionality and usefulness to travellers planning a journey to Kenya, as well as those already exploring the country.
We have now decided to market the application internationally.
Our objective is to make reliable information about Kenya more accessible, inspire travellers to explore beyond the best-known safari circuits and increase awareness of the country’s parks, coast, cultures, landscapes and emerging tourism experiences.
We also see the application as a future platform for collaboration within the Kenyan tourism industry. As its international reach grows, we hope it will create greater visibility for hotels, lodges, tour operators and experience providers serving different parts of the country.
We welcome conversations with ATTA® members interested in the role technology can play in destination education, visitor planning and the responsible dispersal of travellers beyond established tourism areas.
Kenya’s Cruise Tourism Creates New Trade Opportunities
Kenya’s cruise sector recorded notable growth at the beginning of 2026, including extended calls by the Crystal Symphony and the Azamara Journey at the Port of Mombasa.
Longer stays create opportunities that go well beyond traditional port excursions. They allow the trade to develop overnight coastal experiences, cultural tours, pre-cruise and post-cruise stays, and safari extensions connecting Mombasa with Tsavo, Amboseli and other destinations. This growth also strengthens Kenya’s position within wider Indian Ocean and East African cruise itineraries.
Adventure Tourism Continues to Expand
The 2026 Magical Kenya Mountain and Trails Series began in Nandi with an expanded combination of hiking, cycling, off-road driving, sport and cultural immersion. The initiative demonstrates Kenya’s continued development beyond the traditional safari model. It opens new possibilities for active travel, community participation and itinerary development in areas that receive fewer international visitors.
For Africa specialists, these experiences provide opportunities to create more varied journeys, encourage longer stays and connect travellers with Kenya’s landscapes and communities in meaningful ways.
Let’s Continue Building African Tourism Together
We look forward to meeting fellow ATTA® members, exchanging ideas and identifying practical opportunities to work together. To strengthen an existing East Africa itinerary or explore collaboration through our application or otherwise, we would be glad to speak with you in Nairobi or London.
