Mahlatini Luxury Travel to open new office in Cape Town

Mahlatini Wildlife and Nature Holiday Company (BTA’s 2016 & 2017), is set to open a dedicated South African sales and product office in Cape Town later this year, in support of its ambitious growth strategy.

The UK based company, established over 15 years ago, is a specialist tour operator with an exclusive focus on tailor-made travel to African and the Indian Ocean Islands. Co-founder and Director of Sales, Greg Fox will lead the SA division. “First-hand product knowledge and excellent supplier relationships are central to Mahlatini’s success. As the company continues to grow exponentially it was a natural move for us to build a permanent base in South Africa.”

The Cape Town office will serve as a sales and product office with all other functions being retained in the UK HQ, based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Chris Goldring, Director of Operations explains, “We have state-of-the-art bespoke systems that enable us to easily connect with our international client and supplier base. The Cape Town office will seamlessly operate as an extension of the UK office and that ‘on the ground’ presence will provide numerous benefits to our clients. An increase in response times to sales enquiries and providing assistance to travelling clients are amongst the many benefits we envisage.” 

The new SA division will be based in contemporary office space in Salt River. It is scheduled to open within the next few months. There are several opportunities to join the team at this pivotal time.
