Ker & Downey Africa rebrands and launches Safari Planner and Agent Portal
Ker & Downey Africa has unveiled a full brand refresh and integrated its North America‑focused DMC, Grand Africa Safaris, into the core business. Announced today, the move is paired with two digital releases – the consumer‑facing Safari Planner and a trade‑focused Agent Portal – aimed at streamlining trip design for travellers and strengthening support for agents.
The Safari Planner enables emotion‑led trip discovery curated by expert designers, while the Agent Portal provides white‑label proposals, destination insights, training resources, priority access to offers and 24/7 on‑the‑ground support. COO Jenieen van den Heever said the update reflects a “reawakening” of luxury travel that is more personal and digitally enabled. For the trade, the consolidation and new tools are designed to improve operational efficiency and collaboration across key source markets.
