We've spent years showing guests the Serengeti from canvas. Now we're building somewhere to come home to between migrations. 

Coming July 2027 — Upeo Serengeti Lodge is indigenous, Tanzanian-owned and built by the same team that run Nyumbu Luxury Migration Camp — this isn't a flag planted on the Serengeti, it's ours.

Upeo Serengeti Lodge is Swahili for horizon — Nyumbu Tanzania's first permanent lodge: eight decadent villas raised straight out of a granite kopje above Kogatende, where the view doesn't need a filter and the entrance doesn't give it away until the very last step.

Every Villa shares the same DNA: a standalone granite bathtub, indoor and outdoor showers, private infinity plunge pool deck and 180° views clean across the savanna, uninterrupted power and raw materials exactly as this land gave them to us. 

Five Standard Villas,  Two Honeymoon Villas with full butler service and a private boma dining deck for two. One Family Villa pairs two interconnected en-suite villas around a shared lounge — room enough for two adults and two children.
