ILTM Africa to expand 2026 edition after pivotal year

ILTM Africa plans a larger, more immersive 2026 edition, with around 85 exhibitors – up from approximately 63 in 2025 – and a matched number of hosted buyers. The luxury‑focused show will remain Africa‑centric while, for the first time, incorporating selected Middle Eastern luxury products to widen high‑end sourcing and deal‑making.

Organisers will retain the tabletop, pre‑scheduled one‑to‑one format with 20‑minute appointments. Following a 2025 move to Cape Town’s Norval Foundation that expanded floor space and refreshed the experience, the 2026 programme will feature sustainability‑led activations, including an art and conservation partnership with Painted Wolf Wines and an awareness campaign with SANCCOB for the critically endangered African penguin. Reported outcomes include a DMC appointment that prompted six new hires – signalling tangible business growth for African suppliers.
