Have you heard about our work in Ghana’s Ashanti Region to protect the Nyame Bepo Forest Reserve?
For years, Ashanti African Tours has been deeply committed to conserving Africa’s precious wildlife and habitats—not just through observation, but by actively involving local communities.
We proudly sponsor 24 local community forest committee members (CFC's) to patrol the forest, fostering a true sense of ownership and responsibility. By creating jobs and engaging the community, we’re encouraging sustainable conservation, showing the long-term value of preserving this incredible ecosystem over short-term timber gains.
Our next goal? Transforming a productive timber concession into a 3,000-hectare protected reserve at Nyame Bepo.
Together, we’re building a future where conservation and community thrive hand-in-hand.
