Grand Hotel Djibloho continues to serve as a host venue for CEMAC meetings. From November 10 to 13, 2025, the CEMAC–AFREC Cooperation Program on Energy Statistics brought together representatives from member states, technical experts, and regional partners to advance the integration and harmonization of energy information systems in Central Africa, with the goal of strengthening the planning and implementation of more efficient and sustainable public policies.

The meeting commenced with several days of technical sessions and collaborative analysis focused on improving the management and harmonization of energy data across the region. Representatives from member states, technical experts, regional partners, and the HISWACA project participated actively in the discussions. During the closing session, chaired by Nicolas Beyeme Nguema, Commissioner for Economic, Monetary and Financial Policies at CEMAC, the importance of this partnership was underscored as a key mechanism for enhancing data governance and supporting evidence-based decision-making in the economic and energy sectors. The session also reaffirmed CEMAC’s commitment to modernizing the regional statistical system and deploying innovative tools to improve data integration and management across the subregion.

Beyeme Nguema expressed his appreciation to the Government of Equatorial Guinea and local authorities for their warm hospitality and support, which contributed to the success of the event. He also reaffirmed CEMAC’s continued commitment, under the leadership of H.E. Baltazar Engonga Edjo, to strengthening the regional statistical framework and fostering collaboration for the effective use of data in policy formulation and sustainable development.

Grand Hotel Djibloho, with its well-equipped meeting and conference facilities, adaptable workspaces, and professional service, has proven to be an ideal venue for high-level meetings and institutional events.
