Grand Hotel Djibloho hosted the 57th session of the Board of Directors of the African and Malagasy Civil Aviation Authorities (AAMAC) on 5 July 2026. The working session brought together the institution’s administrators to review its governance, management, and operational performance.

During the proceedings, the Administrative Council examined the activity report and management accounts for the period under review, as well as the financial statements for the year-end closing. The auditors’ report was also presented and duly noted by Council members.

The analysis of these documents provided an overall assessment of the institution’s administrative and financial situation, in line with the monitoring, control, and supervisory responsibilities of the governing body.

The Council also proceeded with the election of its new President, appointing the Administrator of Benin, Mr Karl Legba, who succeeds Mr Silué Sinaly. Mr Sinaly had voluntarily stepped down to facilitate the renewal of the Council’s leadership.

Council members expressed their satisfaction with the Executive Secretary’s presentation and adopted a series of resolutions aimed at strengthening the Organization’s activities and ensuring the continuity of its initiatives.

The session concluded with the traditional official group photograph, marking the successful completion of the proceedings in an atmosphere of general satisfaction. Participants commended the quality of the reception and the excellence of the services provided by the host establishment, which contributed to the smooth running and overall success of the meeting.

Grand Hotel Djibloho thus reaffirms its commitment to excellence in hospitality, consolidating its position as a benchmark venue for institutional meetings and major international events.
