Far & Wild Welcomes Two New Junior Africa Consultants to the Team

A leading sustainable travel company based in London is celebrating the recent addition of two new Junior Africa Sales Consultants to its team.
Far & Wild Travel is an award-winning tour operator and ATTA member, specialising in tailor-made and sustainable holidays worldwide, with particular expertise in Africa.
Ottilie Dick, a Business Enterprise graduate, and Tamara Jack, who earned her degree in Business Management and Geography, have both recently joined the company as Junior Africa Sales Consultants, bringing a fresh energy and passion for responsible tourism.
On joining Far & Wild, Ottilie said: "I've always had a love for travel and feel lucky to have visited so many incredible countries around the world. But Africa in particular has always captivated me. It’s genuinely inspiring to work for such a responsible company like Far & Wild and contribute to making travel a force for good. I love sharing my passion with clients and creating special holidays and I can’t wait for my upcoming work trip to Tanzania!"
Tamara, who was born and raised in Kenya, said: "It’s incredibly rewarding to combine my love for Africa with my academic background in a business that genuinely cares about people and the environment, and I’m excited about the opportunities ahead. In my first two months alone, I’ve already visited St Helena on a familiarisation trip hosted by St Helena Tourism, where I swam with whale sharks and met Jonathan the giant tortoise - the world’s oldest land mammal! It’s a dream job!"
Over the years, Far & Wild has earned a strong reputation as an industry leader in sustainable travel, crafting bespoke trips that deliver unique experiences while positively impacting communities and the environment.
In 2024, Founder and CEO, Ben Morison, was inducted into the Global Travel Hall of Fame for “profoundly shaping tourism, blending commercial success with environmental advocacy, and leaving an enduring legacy in the industry”. Ben is also Founder of The Flipflopi Project - an East African movement with a mission to end single-use plastic and ensure all other plastics are part of a circular economy.
Alistair Walls, Managing Director of Far & Wild Travel, said: “At Far & Wild, we look to hire ambitious individuals who share our passion for sustainable travel, and we’ve found that in Ottilie, Tamara, and Nia, whose academic backgrounds are playing an important role in helping them grow professionally and, ultimately, develop Far & Wild as a business.”
