Experience Africa 2026 | Buyer Webinar Recording
This week Sammy Kelly, Buyer Engagement Manager for Experience Africa, hosted a live briefing for travel agents, tour operators and industry partners to introduce Experience Africa 2026, taking place in London from 22–24 June.
The session provides an overview of what buyers and suppliers can expect from this year’s event, which brings together over 180 African tourism exhibitors including DMCs, accommodation providers, activity specialists, tourism boards and representation companies.
Experience Africa is designed to connect African tourism businesses with international buyers actively selling Africa through three days of pre-scheduled meetings and networking.
During the briefing, Sammy covers:
-
Who Experience Africa is best suited for
-
The profile and geographic spread of exhibitors attending
-
How the pre-scheduled meeting system works
-
The difference between hosted and non-hosted buyer participation
-
Key timelines and what buyers should be preparing ahead of meeting preferencing
The webinar also explains how the event fits within the wider Africa travel trade calendar and why it offers access to a significant number of suppliers that do not participate in other African trade events.
Travel agents and tour operators looking to strengthen their Africa portfolio will find the session particularly helpful in understanding how to maximise their participation.
