Emboo joins the Asilia portfolio – a partnership for impact

Asilia was founded 21 years ago when a collection of owner-run camps came together with a shared belief that tourism, done right, could be a force for good. That same belief continues to guide us today, as we strive to create Impact at Scale across the wild places we call home. From 15 December 2025, we're proud to welcome Emboo, located in the heart of the Masai Mara Reserve, Kenya, into the Asilia portfolio under a long-term lease agreement, a partnership built on shared values, deep respect for nature, and a commitment to a sustainable future.

Kindred spirits in purpose and practice

Like Asilia, Emboo is an owner-run camp driven by purpose. Known for doing sustainability 'for real', Emboo operates fully on solar power with no backup generators, runs an all-electric vehicle fleet, and recycles or reuses nearly everything on site, from greywater to biogas. Their transparent approach allows guests to see sustainability in action, from behind-the-scenes eco-tours to practical lessons on what's possible in the field. Asilia and Emboo share the same genuine ethos: humility, integrity, and a deep commitment to people and place. Together, we can contribute more meaningfully towards a shared sustainability goal, sharing expertise, scaling best practices, and demonstrating what sustainable tourism can truly look like.

What this means for our partners

• Launch date: Emboo officially joins the Asilia portfolio on 15 December 2025.
• Positioning: Comfort-level camp in the Maasai Mara Reserve, Kenya.
• Integration: The camp will be available to book through Asilia systems, with further information and rate sheets accessible through the Agent Space.
• Continuity: The existing Emboo team will remain in place, supported by Asilia's systems, training, and service standards.
