Closed Safari Vehicles Introduced for Botswana Airport Transfers

Hideaways Africa has introduced new closed Toyota Land Cruiser safari vehicles for guest airport transfers at Hideaways Mankwe Tented Retreat and Hideaways Camelthorn Bush Camp, both located in the NG43 private concession in the Greater Moremi region of Botswana, as well as Hideaways Mogotlho Safari Lodge, situated in the Khwai River on the NG41 private concession.

The vehicles will primarily be used for airport transfers to and from the camps, offering guests a comfortable year-round travel option when moving between the regional airstrips and the concessions.

As fully closed safari vehicles, they provide protection from seasonal conditions while maintaining the classic design of a safari vehicle. This is particularly beneficial during the dry season, when dust levels on the roads between the airstrips and the concessions can be high.

Each guest is still guaranteed a window seat, ensuring uninterrupted views throughout the journey.

Thanks to the abundance of wildlife across both concessions, transfers between the airstrips and the camps frequently become an extension of the safari itself, with many arrivals and departures unfolding much like a game drive.

The introduction of these vehicles further enhances the guest journey into camp while maintaining the authentic safari atmosphere that defines travel in the region.
