Albatros Africa Expands Honeyguide Portfolio with New Acquisition
We are beyond thrilled to announce that as of July 1st, Albatros Travel Africa has acquired a new lodge at the stunning Entabeni Game Reserve. The lodge will be rebranded as Honeyguide Conservation Lodge Lodge and will join the prestigious Honeyguide Portfolio, which currently includes four safari camps in South Africa and Tanzania.
Soren Rasmussen, founder and chairman of the board of Albatros Travel Group, emphasized the importance of the lodge's new focus:

Location and Features
Nestled in the Big Five Entabeni Game Reserve, Honeyguide Conservation Lodge boasts 10 luxurious rooms. Each room features a spacious deck offering breathtaking views of the adjacent dam, expansive bushlands, and the majestic Hanglip Mountain. This new lodge complements the existing Honeyguide Ranger Camp within the same reserve.
Upgraded Amenities & Focus on Conservation
Honeyguide Conservation Lodge is set to reopen as a 5-star lodge, offering not only game drives and walks but also inviting guests to participate in ongoing conservation projects. Over the next few months, the lodge will undergo renovations, including the addition of:
- A new overflow pool
- Dining conservancy
- Spa treatment room
- Lounge area
Moreover, Honeyguide Conservation Lodge is both child-friendly and wheelchair accessible, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests. The lodge’s prime location on the lower escarpment of Entabeni Game Reserve ensures an unforgettable safari adventure with the chance to see the Big Five.
