AIDA Cruises to return to South Africa in 2027/28
AIDA Cruises has unveiled its 2027/28 winter programme featuring more than 300 voyages and a return to South Africa after several years away. AIDAblu will operate 14‑night roundtrips from Cape Town between November 2027 and March 2028, calling at East London, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Walvis Bay, with selected cruises extending into the Indian Ocean.
Early 2028 will also see AIDAblu sail from Port Louis, Mauritius, to the Seychelles, Madagascar and La Réunion before repositioning for the European summer. The wider season spans seven to 48 days across the Caribbean, South America, Northern Europe and the Canary Islands, while Middle East deployments remain suspended for 2027/28 following earlier cancellations linked to regional security concerns.
