Africa’s Economies Projected to Grow 4.2% in 2026
Africa’s economies are projected to expand by 4.2% in 2026, according to the African Development Bank’s latest African Economic Outlook report. The forecast highlights the continent’s continued resilience, supported by domestic demand, investment activity and improving macroeconomic conditions in several markets.
For the tourism sector, sustained economic growth can help unlock infrastructure investment, improve connectivity and strengthen destination competitiveness. The report also reinforces Africa’s position as one of the world’s fastest-growing regions over the medium term.
