Overview

Lolelunga Private Reserve, a conservation success story years in the making, opened its doors to guests in August this year. Situated along the breathtaking banks of the Lunga River in Zambia’s Kasempa district, this 30,000-hectare (around 74,000-acre) sanctuary lies just 30 kilometres (19 miles) northwest of Kafue National Park. Fully fenced, with the river forming a natural boundary, Lolelunga offers an exclusive and safe haven for families, couples, and safari enthusiasts seeking transformative and responsible travel.

The reserve is alive with wildlife, featuring the successful reintroduction of cheetah alongside other native species. The upcoming arrival of critically endangered black rhinos will mark a historic milestone, highlighting the owners’ and management’s commitment to pioneering conservation and ecosystem restoration.

Lolelunga accommodates just 14 guests, offering a choice of King rooms, Junior suites, and a Family suite. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, indulgent spa, and a variety of dining experiences, all designed to complement the safari adventure. Guests can enjoy guided game drives, walking safaris, boating, canoeing, and catch-and-release fishing.

Perched above the treetops, the Ngoma Deck allows guests to sleep beneath the stars and awaken to the sounds of the bush, greeted by a breathtaking sunrise over the reserve.

Blending luxury, exclusivity, and conservation, Lolelunga Game Reserve invites guests to immerse themselves in the wild, witness extraordinary wildlife, and create memories that are as transformative as they are unforgettable.
