Lion Landscapes
Website http://www.lionlandscapes.org
Ruaha Carnivore project is now part of Lion Landscapes, whose work covers major lion population centres in the Selous (Nyerere), Laikipia, Kenya and the Luangwa Valley in Zambia. Their support concentrates on their work in Ruaha and Selous. Lion Landscapes mission is to make large carnivore conservation valuable to local and global communities. Their approach works to stop the loss of lions and other large carnivores, reduce the cost of wildlife presence for local people, and unlock the value of living with wildlife, especially for local communities.

Sea Sense
Website http://seasense.or.tz/
Sea Sense is a Tanzanian NGO that partners with coastal communities to conserve and protect Tanzania’s most iconic marine wildlife, including sea turtles, dugongs, and whale sharks. These species play a key role in maintaining healthy marine ecosystems, which support the livelihoods and wellbeing of millions of coastal people. Their approach involves strengthening local capacity for marine wildlife research and monitoring, providing training on small-scale fisheries management, delivering education and outreach programmes, and mentoring local leaders and marine biodiversity champions.

Southern Tanzania Elephant Program
Website http://stzelephants.or.tz
Southern Tanzania Elephant Program (STEP) provides aerial and technical support for anti-poaching whilst also monitoring and researching elephants. They also work with local farmers affected by elephants, in the Ruaha-Rungwa and Udzungwa-Selous ecosystems.

The Kusini Fund
The Kusini Fund seeks to formalise our conservation and community commitment in providing a separate entity for us and our guests to focus their fundraising efforts. The fund will distribute money to a select group of projects working in our core areas of Southern Tanzania. The fund will also support initiatives in Tanzania and across Africa where we go on privately guided safaris, and of course those handpicked by our donors. The first special project is the construction of new student accommodation at the Mkuyu Guide School which we have supported since 2014.
