As you know, our Buffalo camp is located in the midst of the Masai Mara’s endless savannah. Julia’s River Camp is an amazing place where the breathtaking wildlife views are guarantees. It’s the perfect place to begin your safari and when you finish you can relax in a special place because we know you will need it. And because we want you to be as comfortable and as relaxed as possible we thought about that too, so... from a few weeks ago, we have a new reading room in Buffalo Camp.

We are delighted to announce that we are participating in the International Tourism Trade Fair, FITUR 2020 in Madrid. To this fair all professionals in the sector of tourism and visitors from the general public will be present. We hope this event will bring us the visibility needed to present to the public our packages, as well as the improvements we have developed in our camps and infrastructures.

Last week Kananga had the pleasure to assist in Serengeti Safari Marathon.  Kananga and he Serengeti Safari Marathon organization joined to create a special moment for the people who decided to participate and enjoy different activities in the Serengeti National Park.

We are proud to announce that as from December of last year, we have been diligently phasing out plastic bottles in our camp, well ahead of the new legislation banning plastic bottles in National Parks that will come into play in June 2020. We now have 20-litre water dispensers available in the mess tents and have replaced plastic water bottles in the rooms with ecofriendly re-fillable water bottles in our efforts to contribute in a small way to the climate change issues our world is facing.

Kananga is pleased to announce yet another year at Karibu Fair / Kilifair (7-9th June, Arusha, stand nº A50) where its Arusha office are presenting its fleet of 23 specially adapted overland trucks for the best safari experience as well as its two tented camps within the most emblematic National Parks in East Africa; Masai Mara in Kenya and Serengeti in Tanzania. Kananga is pleased to announce the addition of our third tented camp to our portfolio: Kananga Special Tented Camp - Kogatende, located in a remote area of the Northern Serengeti wilderness zone of Kogatende, just 800 metres from the Mara River and 5km away from the Kenyan border.

Kananga will be exhibiting at WTM Cape Town (stand nºH02) next week where we will be announcing the addition of our third tented camp to our portfolio: Kananga Special Tented Camp - Kogatende, located in a remote area of the Northern Serengeti wilderness zone of Kogatende, just 800 metres from the Mara River and 5km away from the Kenyan border.
