Overview

Since 1998 we’ve been committed to building first-hand knowledge of every destination, lodge and activity we recommend from our 3 000+ safari partners. We go above and beyond, travelling the length and breadth of the continent to be able to share our first-hand experience and unbiased advice, and ensure that every part of your safari itinerary is tried-and-tested.

We pride ourselves in being true experts, collectively spending more than 365 days each year on safari to ensure you enjoy the trip of a lifetime, every time. In March 2021, our experts featured on Condé Nast Traveler's list of Top Travel Specialists for a second straight year. Seven of our experts were named among 146 of Africa’s best, making us the only company with this many experts recognised.

Spread across Africa, from Nairobi to Cape Town, our team of safari experts are all African-born and raised. We’ve grown up on game reserves, worked as head rangers and lodge managers, and spend our own holidays on safari; we understand what goes into making every African safari a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Grumeti Fund

The Grumeti Fund assists with empowerment initiatives for 5,000 high school girls in rural Tanzania. These young women suffer a multitude of challenges every day with negatively impacted potential due to limited access to education, cultural marginalisation and extreme poverty.

Our very own CEO – Maija de Rijk-Uys – has been one of the 18 women runners who have taken part in the annual Serengeti Girls Run, raising over $8,500 for the Grumeti Fund. We are committed to raising funds each and every year, whether Go2Africa are represented in the race or not.
