Having grown up in a Namibian national park, it was never in doubt that Victoria would pursue a career in wild Africa (or that she would love deserts!). Straight out of school she joined Wilderness Safaris Namibia and for the next decade was field-based, first as an apprentice guide, then as a camp manager in Namibia as well as Seychelles at legendary camps like Serra Cafema and North Island. A stint in hospitality standards and training based in Windhoek followed before she explored the other side of the tourism industry, initially as an inbound travel designer in Cape Town, then in sales in South Africa as well as Germanic Europe, and then 7 years in Dubai as Africa product manager for a well-known high-end tour operator. Victoria’s extensive experience across the industry made her the perfect choice as sales director for Wild Expeditions who she joined in late 2022.
