Legendary Expeditions is pleased to announce that Sean Clark has recently been appointed as the new Director of Sales & Marketing. This announcement comes at an exciting time for Legendary Expeditions as the company prepares to open a new tented camp, Mila, in Mwiba Wildlife Reserve later this year, in addition to two completely refurbished mobile camps operating across 4 prime sites in the Serengeti ecosystem.

With some of the best locations in the Serengeti, both the seasonal Legendary Serengeti Camp and the fixed Mila Tented Camp draw inspiration from their natural surroundings offering elegant and relaxed comfort with natural fabrics and handmade furniture. Here, only a wall of canvas stands between you and nature. Immerse in the sounds, fragrances and feeling of the wild.

In 2022, the Friedkin Conservation Fund Tanzania's initiatives took centre stage as we focused on protecting a critical buffer zone bordering the Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks by supporting several long-term projects that positively impact communities and wildlife in the Mwiba and Maswa conservation areas. 

Legendary Expeditions has reopened its flagship property, the beautiful Mwiba Lodge, this week. The first guests arrived to an elated cheer from staff who celebrated their long-awaited arrival yesterday. Karibuni tena! Welcome back!

In January, the sun will set for Mila Tented Camp’s current location in Mwiba Wildlife Reserve, and will rise for a new dawn in the remote and sought-after region of Nyasirori. Situated in the western corridor of the great Serengeti, our long awaited return to this superbly wildlife-rich landscape signals the end of a 2 year long dormancy, as tourism regains it's momentum. Mila Tented Camp makes its debut on 1 May 2022.

We are excited to announce the reopening of Legendary Lodge on the 1st of August 2020. Gateway to the northern safari circuit of Tanzania, Legendary Lodge is located at the foothills of Mount Meru, on the outskirts of the bustling town of Arusha. Boasting lush tropical gardens and surrounded by a working coffee farm, the peaceful cottages are the perfect place to prepare for or reflect on your exhilarating safari experience.

In the month of December, Legendary Expeditions opened their doors to a new soulful, tented experience in northern Tanzania... Mila is located in Mwiba Wildlife Reserve with access to over 125 000 acres of wilderness adjoining the Serengeti ecosystem. A short 10-minute drive from Mwiba Lodge with easy access from Mwiba Airstrip, Mila will offer guests the freedom of a tented camp experience combined with immersive cultural interactions and classic safari memories.
