Legendary Expeditions announces new camp arrangement in the Serengeti for 2024

In a constant effort to ensure that their camps’ locations are operationally effective and conducive to offering the best guest experiences throughout the year, Legendary Expeditions will be making a few changes to their camp arrangement in 2024.

SONGA: AN EXCITING MOVE DOWN SOUTH
In October 2024, they’ll be moving Songa Tented Camp to its exciting new home in the southern Serengeti. Occupying what was once the location of Nyasi Migrational Camp south, Songa’s new position puts guests in the midst of the Great Migration during calving season. Songa's season in Kogatende will continue until 7 October 2024, before packing up for the move south. It will be reopening in its new location on 15 December 2024, and will stay open until 31 March 2025.

NYASI MAKES ITS HOME IN THE NORTH
Nyasi Migrational Camp will be putting down roots in the northern Serengeti with its location in the Lamai Wedge. This location places guests in perfect proximity to one of nature's greatest spectacles: the Mara River crossings. Nyasi will be positioned in the south until 31 March 2024, and will reopen in the north from 1 June 2024.
