Zen Palms and Ghana Airsports Federation Partner to Launch Adventure Air Sports Tourism

Zen Palms Beach Resort & Spa and the Ghana Airsports Federation (GAF) have announced an exclusive strategic partnership to introduce adventure air sports into Ghana's tourism landscape. The collaboration will see GAF lead a series of air sports activations - including demonstration events, pilot programmes and training initiatives - across key tourism locations throughout the year, with disciplines such as paramotoring, skydiving and paragliding central to the rollout. Zen Palms, an eco-luxury wellness resort under development along the Volta Region coastline and scheduled to open next year, will serve as a flagship destination for the partnership's combined hospitality and adventure offering.

The initiative is designed to attract international travellers while creating youth development and job creation pathways within Ghana's emerging air sports sector. GAF's broader national agenda focuses on building a structured air sports ecosystem, including infrastructure development and globally recognised competitive disciplines, in alignment with Ghana's wider tourism growth strategy. Nakiya Pitts, Founder and CEO of Zen Palms, described the partnership as the beginning of an entirely new industry across the continent, while GAF Founder and CEO Isaac Nana Vanderpuije highlighted its potential for innovation, youth opportunity and global positioning. Both organisations are working towards their first demonstration experiences later this year.
