Wilderness Rwanda celebrates the opening of Magashi Peninsula
Wilderness Rwanda is delighted to announce the official opening of Wilderness Magashi Peninsula, an exclusive new safari retreat now welcoming guests to one of Rwanda’s most compelling landscapes. Set on a private peninsula within Akagera National Park – managed by African Parks in partnership with the Rwanda Development Board – the launch marks a significant milestone in Wilderness’ continued commitment to safeguarding and celebrating Rwanda’s last remaining savannah ecosystem.
“Magashi Peninsula is an exciting addition to our private concession within the park”, said Manzi Kayihura, Wilderness Rwanda Executive Director. “Akagera is a landscape of immense beauty, ecological significance and resilience.
