In this webinar, Alankar Chandra, Founder of Ilora Retreats and Wild Voyager, introduces Ilora Retreats and shares practical insights into the camp’s location, guest experience and positioning within Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve.

Alankar takes viewers through the 14-tent property in central Olkiombo, highlighting its location within a wildlife-rich area of the reserve and its spacious accommodation and facilities. The session explores the experiences available to guests, including game drives, private dining, stargazing, children’s activities, wellness experiences and the camp’s resident photographer, who can accompany guests on safari and help capture their experience.

The webinar also looks at the types of travellers Ilora may suit, including families and multigenerational groups, wildlife photographers and safari travellers, alongside practical considerations for travelling with children. Alankar discusses seasonality in the Masai Mara, explaining what guests can expect beyond the peak migration period and the year-round opportunities for resident wildlife viewing.
