Company Overview
Elewana Collection is a portfolio of 16 boutique lodges, camps and hotels set across Kenya and Tanzania, from the Laikipia Plateau and Masai Mara to Amboseli, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and the shores of Zanzibar. The name is drawn from the Kiswahili word for “harmony” and “understanding” — the guiding principle behind every Elewana property, and the balance we strike between indulgence, adventure, conservation and community.
Each Elewana property is individually designed to reflect its landscape and culture, while sharing a consistent standard of warm, personal East African hospitality. We are committed to reducing our footprint, investing in conservation, and delivering tangible, sustainable benefit to the communities who share these landscapes with us.
Portfolio Structure
Tanzania: Arusha Coffee Lodge (Arusha), Tarangire Treetops (Tarangire), The Manor at Ngorongoro (Ngorongoro Highlands), Serengeti Pioneer Camp, Serengeti Migration Camp and Serengeti Explorer (Serengeti), Kilindi Zanzibar (Zanzibar).
Coming in 2027: Ngorongoro Explorer, the second property in Elewana's Explorer collection, scheduled to open on the Ngorongoro Crater rim in June 2027.

Explorer Collection & Rwanda 2027
Elewana's expanding Explorer collection combines contemporary accommodation and enhanced facilities with the collection's signature personalised hospitality. Following the opening of Serengeti Explorer, Ngorongoro Explorer is scheduled to welcome its first guests in June 2027.
The webinar also offered a first look at Elewana's expansion into Rwanda, including Lake Kavumba in Akagera National Park, currently anticipated to open in October 2027, with further developments planned in the Volcanoes region.
